We’re Daniel and Viosa Jones, the husband-and-wife founders of Octotasker, an American-based recruiting company dedicated to helping founders and startups hire the top 1% offshore talent for remote positions.
Over the past eight years, we've lived overseas and built several call centers, including the first BPO in North Macedonia. We successfully hired over 1,000 team members locally, but we quickly realized that bad hires were holding us back. In 2019, bad hires almost cost us everything. At one point we even had to sell our personal belongings to pay off expenses and payroll.
